Summer League / Knights Bootcamp will start as Phase 2 opens up for high school participation on Monday June 22 and go through July 3. In order to participate all forms and Covid-19 waivers will need to be filled out using our new online athletic clearance process on Please click on the banner/logo below or the URL address below that. Follow the steps provided below that to make sure you have everything completeD to start participation. Please also read through the Clay County School District and Oakleaf High School reopening and participation procedures letter. As we go through Phase 2 the county and state will meet to see if we proceed to Phase 3 and 4. They currently have no guidelines for Phases 3 and 4 but are working this month to put them in to place. We are hoping all goes well during Phase 2 and we will be able to provide you and your son/player with further summer league practice and improvement opportunities throughout July and possibly August based on county and state procedures. In Phase 2, only returning regular season players from JV and Varsity are permitted to participate with all paperwork completed on We hope to have a tryout for both JV and Varsity if allowed as the summer continues and the number of athletes in the gym is allowed to increase. As of now we are focusing on preparing for June 22 and we will communicate additional info about future phases as they are produced. This letter is to inform you of our new policies regarding our phased return of athletics at OHS. We all realize the importance of getting back to normal, however, we need to take the proper steps to ensure safety for our student-athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, and everyone involved. The Clay County School District Athletic Task Force has issued a comprehensive plan to return to athletics. This consists of 4 phases, this letter will address the first two phases of the plan. All of our coaches have submitted a specific and detailed plan to address Phases I and II. Please stress the importance of complying with these regulations with your student-athlete.

Starting June 22 and running through July 3
Phase II
● All participation is strictly voluntary, there are no “make up” requirements
● Masks are optional for participants and coaches
● Indoor activities are permitted, 90 minute sessions, 15 min sanitation in-between sessions
● Weight equipment should be wiped down before and after individual use
● Sanitization will occur after each session
● Hand sanitizer is readily available and to be use by everyone as they enter the premises and as they leave, and as often as requested
during conditioning
● No spectators/visitors will be allowed, parent/guardian are to remain in their vehicles
● Head Coaches will have student-athlete monitoring form, kept weekly
● Monitoring consists of 4 questions regarding COVID-19 exposure
● Social Distancing is a requirement, everyone should remain 6 ft. apart
● Groups of no more than 20 (including coaches)
● No use of facilities, no locker rooms, showers, etc. (Restrooms are available)
● All drills and sport specific sessions may include equipment, however, there is to be no contact between individuals. Balls, blocking
dummies, nets, etc. must be disinfected between workout sessions.
Students must have a physical on file and all signatures (EL-2, EL3, including Covid-19 Waiver form) on to participate.
Bring their own water bottle and towel with their name on it. If they do not bring a drink, they will be sent home.
Students must wear shirts, preferably with sleeves at all times.
Students are urged to shower as soon as possible after workouts.
